It gets better . . . Joel Burns tells his story

Okay so I saw this on someone else's blog & I got crazy emotional. Like Lifetime movie type emotions. I hope you get the chance to watch this video & realize that it takes a lot to tell a personal story of struggle. Joel Burns not only takes time out to tell his story, but assures youth that it indeed does get better. After a young boy killed himself in his district Joel took time to remind everyone that no matter what schools need to be a safe place where children can feel safe to learn and grow.And that if things get bad, to call him personally to ask for help if needed. There are many resources out there to help when someone is being bullied, harassed, and feels all alone. This is just a quick video reminder that people do care and want to help and have been in similar places. No matter how bad things seem to get, things can ALWAYS get better!!
